
岳彩轮, Chai-lun Yueh, 旅美著名男中音歌唱家, 声乐教育家, 民族英雄岳飞后裔, 美国声乐教育家协会, 美国音乐家荣誉协会 终生会员, 荣获格莱美大奖提名的华裔歌唱家, 美国哈特音乐学院"杰出特聘声乐教授"。毕业于中央音乐学院, 从师于著名的男中音歌唱家黎信昌教授及德高望重的声乐大师蒋英教授学习。原中央歌剧院独唱及歌剧主要演员。先后荣获美国哈特音乐学院声乐表演硕士和歌剧表演艺术家学位。留学期间在著名的茱莉亚音乐学院玛蕾娜玛拉斯教授身边深造。多次在国际大赛如帕瓦罗蒂声乐大赛, 大都会歌剧院比赛中获奖, 近年来他出版的五部声乐个人专辑遍及世界几十个国家和地区, 并先后获得“全球音乐大奖” 和”杰出声望大奖”的殊荣。他的歌声曾经先后六次唱响举世闻名的卡内基音乐厅, 并多次应邀在纽约的林肯中心, 波士顿, 芝加哥交响乐大厅, 以及巴黎, 布拉格, 伦敦, 维也纳等欧洲各国演唱。出任美国著名专业室内合唱团 CONCORA 常任理事和音乐会委员会首位亚裔主席。曾经连任三届哈特福德音乐学院声乐系主任, 做为唯一的亚裔双语教授, 现任教于自己的母校哈特音乐学院声乐系, 并为本校资深顾问及中国地区招生总监。
Chai-lun Yueh, A dramatic baritone with rich and powerful voice, an internationally claimed vocalist, music director, voice educator, the first Chinese born classical singer nominated for the Grammy Awards; winner of Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions of New England Region; Finalist at Luciano Pavarotti International Vocal Competition; Grant recipient of New York Women Composers; Golden Awards and Best Male Voice in Classical from the Global Music Awards and The Prestige Music Award for his CD album of “24 Italian Songs and Arias”.
Currently teaches at The Hartt School, and has been awarded as Distinguished Visiting Professor of Voice since 2021; as well as teaching at Wesleyan University for over two decades; also was Chairman of Voice at the Hartford Conservatory for 3 terms.Received Artist Diploma and Master of Music degrees from The Hartt School after graduating from the Central Conservatory of Music of China, Mr. Yueh continued his advanced studies with Professor Marlena Malas at The Julliard School. Working closely with numerous distinguished artists, directors, and conductors such as Sir.Yehudi Menuhin, Gino Bechi, Sherrill Milnes, Nancy Milnes, Anton Guadagno, Yves Abel, Benton Hess, and Adelaide Bishop. He has performed in leading roles in opera such as Tonio, Rigoletto, Giorgio Germont, Escamillo, Beron Scarpia, Marcello, Sharpless, Count Almaviva and Don Giovanni. His voice has been heard at The National Opera of China, Austin Lyric Opera, Baltimore Opera,Connecticut Opera, Hawaii Opera, Opera Theater of Connecticut and among many others. As the concert soloist, Mr. Yueh has performed at Carnegie Hall, Stern Auditorium multiple times, Alice Tully Hall, David Greffin Hall, Lincoln Center, Chicago and Boston Symphony Hall, The Strathmore Music Hall in Washington DC, Jordan Hall in Boston, Woolsey Hall at Yale University for Mozart, Brahms, Verdi Requiems, Handel's Messiah, Beethoven's 9th Symphony, and Mendelssohn's Elijah. Mr. Yueh has also performed extensively in Europe including Vienna,Salzburg, Paris, and Prague.
